Northwest Youth and Family Services Activity Center

Northwest Youth and Family Services had grown in their present building but lacked a space for the at-risk youth in their program to burn off excess energy. We looked at several site options to add the new activity center to the site.  Criteria included how the addition would relate to the existing building, avoiding poor soil conditions, and  minimizing loss of parking spaces. The resulting design is a multi-purpose space that is durable but is also welcoming. The building addition included the multi-purpose gymnasium space, kitchen, dining area, conference room, recreation room, restrooms and plenty of storage.
