SPPS Johnson Teaching Kitchen

Johnson Senior High had developed a curriculum that included teaching students how to manage and use a commercial kitchen – like one might find in a restaurant.  To create the teaching kitchen, the old Home-Eco Room was renovated so that it could serve the new area of study.  A variety of commercial kitchen equipment was specified from gas ranges to dishwashers, and the entire space was renovated to health department standards.  Cost $300,000.
