Northwest Youth and Family Activity Center

Northwest Youth and Family Activity Center had grown in their present building but lacked a space for the at-risk youth in their program to burn off excess energy.  We looked at several site options to add the new activity center to their existing building, avoiding bad soil, and attempting to minimize loss of parking spaces.  The resulting design is a multi-purpose space that is durable but is also welcoming.  The building addition included the activity center, kitchen, dining area, conference room, recreation room, restrooms and plenty of storage.  Cost $2.4 million.
