SPPS Pool Covers at Various Schools

Pools are energy users due to the heating of water to keep them usable.  Due to evaporation, pools lose their heated water and more heated water has to be added.  Cover the pools with a polyester blanket and evaporation goes way down and so does energy use.  The new system also had to be easy to use.  The new cover system included wall mounted reels that are powered to roll out and roll in the pool covers making them easy to use for the maintenance staff.
